Hand Building Holiday Time
Thursday, April 11th, 6:00pm – 9:00pm, or Saturday April 13th, 11:00am – 1:00pm.
Take a hand building class from our masterful instructor, Cheryle and you’ll learn how to make a hollow Easter Egg for you to fill with whatever makes you joyful or a Matzo Dish that looks like matzo to help recount the story of your ancestors. This is a two part class; the first is building the Egg or Plate and the second class on the day of your choice will be to glaze.
Price is only $65.00 and includes everything – spectacular instruction, all materials, both visits and the firing of your stein.

Passover/Easter Maker’s Weekend
Saturday April 20th from 12:00-5:00 and Sunday April 21st from 12:00-4:00.
Jelly Beans, Easter Eggs, Wine Glasses & Frogs. It’s the Holiday weekend – a perfect time to bring your family and friends with you to make pieces in pottery, mosaics or glass fusion. A great way to spend time together for an hour or so and leave with a special memory of the special day.
Prices are $25.00 per piece. No Reservations required. Just drop in and enjoy the celebration!
Beyond The Basics
Tuesday evenings in April will feature special Beyond the Basics classes.
Tuesday April 9 or 23: Join our smaller class to learn to throw a cup or mug with a handle.
Tuesday April 16 or 30: Join our smaller class to learn to throw a soup or chili bowl with a spoon.
These classes provide the extra time and attention to teach you how to add texture, handles, and your own creative touch to each piece. Class is $65.00 per person. Sign up on line or call us at 443-812-1158.
May The 4th Be With You Makers Weekend
Saturday May 4th 12:00-5:00pm; Sunday May 5th 12:00-4:00pm
Come join us and listen to John Williams music, create a Death Star, X-Wing Starfighter, Sith or Jedi symbol. Costumes are encouraged.
$25.00 per project: Mosaics, Glass Fusion or Pottery
No Reservations Required. Lightsabers must be left at the door.
Six Week Classes
Next Session of Pottery Wheel 6 week classes will be held on your choice of Sundays from 11:00am – 2:00pm, starting May 5th 0r Wednesday nights from 6:00 pm – 9:00pm, starting May 8th.
Hand Building 6 week classes will be held on your choice of Thursday evenings 6:00pm-9:00pm or Saturday mornings 11:00am-1:00pm.
Glass Fusion 6 week classes are offered at various times throughout the week.

All offerings are for students at all skill levels. If you’re experienced, we’ll work on improving your skills and if not, we’ll get you there. Come learn and enjoy.
Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 12th. Bring Mom and spend a special day together at The ClayGround.
Spring Festival at Old Ellicott City
April 27th – All Day Long. Come join with the entire town of Old Ellicott City to dance with live bands, eat with food vendors, drink the myriad of beer offerings and buy from the local artisans. The ClayGround will be participating and we want to see you there! Free parking and shuttle service from county parking lots makes getting to the festival easy.
Summer Art Camp
We are holding weekly art camps throughout the summer starting Monday June 24th from 9:00am to 1:00pm Monday through Friday.
Children from ages 8-18 can join us to learn how to work with clay through both pottery wheel and hand building techniques. They will also get to work with glass in fused glass and mosaic classes. And when the weather permits, they will enjoy the outdoors by going on nature walks around Old Ellicott City.
Price: $300.00 per week. All materials and events included.
